The Percy Jackson Series

Ladies and Gentlemen, there always comes a time where you have to admit your love for Greek mythology and the time is now.  The Percy Jackson series is labeled as a book for 9-12 year olds.  Lies.  This book is too advanced to be a book for people so young.  I feel that this book is to be read by people a little older.  You appreciate the stories and the references better.  This series is very action packed and always leaves you wanting more.  There are 5 books to this series and while they are ver much different, they all lead to the big finale, "The Last Olympian". This book resolves the love triangle that continues throughout the 4 other book.  It brings an action filled story of our favorite gods and demi-gods working together to save the world that they both share and love.  I rate this book a 4.  This book, yet amazing still misses the more realistic touch, even if set in Manhattan.

Happy Reading,

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Hello my fellow web people! Melina here thank you Vanessa for the introduction ;D Vanessa summed it up very nicely I think. We hope to give you a site where you can check out whether or not a book is worth reading WITHOUT any possible spoilers or we'll tell you if maybe your money is better spent on a movie ticket but I don't want to bore you soooo, on to the real business! The Fault in Our Stars by John Green... Good or not good? DUM DUM DUM *Insert dramatic music here* No it was not good people it was FREAKING AMAZING. Definite read I must say. As this little blog continues you'll see that I usually classify books into categories like "predictable but still enjoyable" "how the heck do you even come up with that" "They're such a perfect couple" "Oh my gosh I'm analyzing my whole life now" "why can't this be real" "I shall be eternally depressed" and so on.. there's more trust me lol BUT I think this one pretty much fell somewhere between the "I shall be eternally depressed", "They're such a perfect couple", and "Oh my gosh I'm analyzing my whole life now" I loved it the story was romantic and different, definitely not your run of the mill love story but it still got you thinking about other things. John Green writes an amazing journey between two people and a struggle with cancer. So I guess if you don't mind a story that can get sad at times then you should totally pick it up. I rate this book 5 stars that's for sure. But if you don't believe me pick it up yourself it'll be worth it ;)

*If you've read it tell us if you liked or didn't like it we'd love to hear!*
